PCP Group is a division of Power & Chemical Plant Ltd, a wholly-owned Irish company. The company was started in 1963 by Mr Raymond N. Murphy. Its principle functions were to act as a resourse for the power generation industry and to represent foreign manufacturer's interests in Ireland on an agency basis.

Today the company has expanded its scope to supply equipment and services to general industry, mining and quarrying operations.

Recognising the stringent environmental regulations being enforced on general industry, and industries own rising environmental awareness, Ross Murphy, Managing Director of PCP Group involved the company in the recycling and environmental sectors.

PCP Group developed a niche market for ancillary equipment that could be supplied to end users or Original Equipment Manufacturers, the necessity of these products and solutions being driven by the legislators of Europe.
